Call Arrival (CAR) keys are available software extensions as part of 120 station numbers on the Expanded Port Package. The Basic Port Package provides 32 station numbers and 40 CAR ports. A Call Arrival extension assigned to a line key, can appear and ring on an individual station or multiple stations. When a call is directed to a CAR, any station with the CAR can answer. This ensures that every call to that group is answered promptly. Multiline Terminals may have several CAR extension appearances depending on the application.
