21.1 Connecting the DVR and Router/Modem
Use this section to learn how to connect the DVR to your router/modem.
DVR
1.Make sure that your DVR is connected to a power outlet.
2.Connect the DVR directly to the router through an open Ethernet port with the included Ethernet cable.
3.Connect a computer directly to the same router through another open port with an Ethernet cable.
Do not connect the DVR to a wireless router.
