kAuto Off

Tap the dtab MTap z (Setup menu) MkAuto off

When the camera is on and a period of time passes without any operations having been performed, the monitor will be turned off and the camera will enter standby mode (A23) to save power.

In this option, set the time allowed to elapse before the camera enters standby mode. 30 s, 1 min (default setting), 5 min, and 30 min can be selected.

Power-on lamp flashes in standby mode.

Camera turns off after approximately three minutes passes in standby mode.

To reactivate the monitor while the power on lamp is flashing, press any of the following buttons: - The power switch, shutter-release button, A button, or b(e movie-record) button

CAuto Off Settings

The time allowed to elapse before the camera enters standby mode is fixed in the following situations:

-When a setting screen, mode selection menu, or the setup menu is displayed: three minutes

-During slide show playback: up to 30 minutes

-When the AC adapter EH-62G is connected: 30 minutes

The camera does not enter standby mode when transferring images using an Eye-Fi card.
