The Movie Menu

Autofocus Mode

Display the shooting screen Mdbutton Me(Movie) tab (A13) MAutofocus mode

Choose how the camera focuses when recording normal speed movies (E64).

Option	Description
ASingle AF	Lock on the focus when the b(emovie-record) button is pressed
(default	to start recording. Select this option when the distance between the
setting)	camera and the subject remains fairly consistent.

	The camera focuses continuously during movie recording.
BFull-time AF	Suitable for shooting when the distance of between the camera and
BFull-time AF	subject changes. The operation sound when the camera focuses may
	be recorded. Setting to Single AF is recommended if the sound is
	noticeable.
