DSR Operation
The DSR Operation Command
&Svalue
sets the operation of the DSR pin. The following table shows the allowable values.

Result Codes
OK Appears when the value is supported.
ERROR Appears when the selected value is not recognized or is not supported.
RI Operation
The RI pin is asserted on detection of an incoming call that the
CTA 500dm is allowed to accept.
Normal public network cadencing is provided. The RI signal is asserted for 2 seconds, then negated for 4 seconds. This cycle continues until the call is answered, disconnected by the caller, or the CTA 500dm resets (for example, assertion of DTR if &D is 2 or 3).
Calling Line ID
If Calling Line IdentiÞcation is available on an incoming call and is enabled, a single indication is provided both with the Þrst RING indication and when the RI signal is asserted.
The indication occurs in one of two formats. The Þrst is an additional string of numbers that appears with the RING indication. For example, if the calling number is
