Voice Recordings

Audio voice recordings can be recorded over the built-in microphone and played back over the built-in speaker.

Making a Voice Recording

To make a voice recording, rotate the mode dial to S and select B in the scene menu (B 29). The length of the recording that can be made will be dis- played as shown at right.

Press shutter-release button all the way down to start recording.*

*AF lamp lights while recording is in progress. Camera will enter stand-by mode (B 16) after about 30s; press G to reactivate display. To pause recording, press B; AF lamp will blink. Press again to resume.

To create index, press multi selector up, down, left, or right during recording. Camera can skip to any index during playback. Start of recording is index number 01; other numbers are assigned in ascending order, to maximum of 98.
