Delete Key Magic
Itis possible to…..
-delete a Key Magic function from a specific key within a specific device mode.
-delete all Key Magic functions within a specific device mode.
-delete all Key Magic functions within all device modes.
Example:to delete the programmed Key Magic function (16:9) from the A Key in the TV
mode
1Pressand hold down MAGIC
forabout 3 sec. and...
willappear on the screen.
2PressARROW Right...
willappear on the screen.
3PressENTER twice...
willappear on the screen.
4PressARROW Right...
willappear on the screen.
5PressENTER...
willappear on the screen.
6PressARROW Right...
willappear on the screen.
7PressENTER...
willappear on the screen.
8PressENTER...
willappear on the screen.
9Selectthe device mode (e.g. the TV mode) from which you want to
deletethe Key Magic function by using the ARROW LEFT/RIGHT
keysand press the key you wish to delete (example: A key). The
LEDunderneath the POWER key will blink twice and the screen will
goback to “DELETE KEY MAGIC”.
10 Ifthere is another Key Magic function which you wish to delete, repeat steps 6 - 9.
Result:The original function on the “A” key in the TV mode of the URC-7781 will now
bepresent.
* Todelete a Shifted Key Magic function, press MAGIC before you press the key
tobe deleted in step 9.

8Selectthe corresponding
devicemode from which
youwant to delete all Key
Magicfunctions by using
theARROW LEFT/RIGHT keys and press ENTER. The LED
underneaththe POWER key will light up twice and
thescreen will go back to DELETE KEY MAGIC. All Key Magic
functionsfrom the selected mode are now cleared.
7Youwill see...
8 PressENTER The LED underneath the POWER key will light up
twiceand the display will go back to “DELETE KEY MAGIC”. All
KeyMagic functions from all modes are now cleared.
- Use the LIGHT key to return to the previous screen.
- Press and hold down the LIGHT key to return to user mode.
