Perform CD dubbing to digitally record all the tracks from a music CD to a CD-R or CD-RW. The dubbing mode is selected at the EDIT menu.

Preparation

Turn on the CDR-205X (see page 15).

Place the music CD in the CD player. (Refer to the instruction manual for the C-707CHX).

Place a recordable CD-R or CD-RW in the CDR- 205X (see page 16).

1 Repeatedly press the INPUT button until "Digital In1" appears.

3 Press the YES button.

The current dubbing mode appears.

The current dubbing mode is given on the left side (for the display given above, the current dubbing mode is the album mode).

Album: Only record the tracks that can be

completely recorded. (Album mode) Fade: Fade-out a track if it cannot be

completely recorded. (Fade-out mode)

Note:

CD dubbing cannot be performed when "Digital In2" or "Analog In" is selected.

2 Repeatedly press the EDIT/NO button until "CD DubMode" appears.

4 To change the dubbing mode, press the YES button.

The new dubbing mode is set. To not change the dubbing mode, press the

EDIT/NO button.

Notes:

In the fade mode, only the remaining recording time is displayed.

When recording to a CD-RW in the album mode, the remaining possible recording time is not displayed.
