The data recorded on CD-RW discs can be erased and the disc can be used again as many times as desired. The erasing methods are given below.

Erasing data on unfinalized CD-RWs Last track erase: Erases only the last track. Multi-track erase: Erases all tracks from the

selected track to the final track. All track erase: Erases all tracks.

Erasing from a non-finalized CD-RW

1 Insert the CD-RW to be erased.

Erasing data on finalized CD-RWs All track erase: Erases all tracks.

TOC erase: Returns a finalized disc to the unfinalized condition.

Erasing discs

Erases all data recorded on the CD-RW.

Notes:

If the power is turned off by mistake during an erase, then immediately turn the power back on. The process will be automatically resume.

If "Disc Error" appears during an erase, the abort the erase and check the disc for scratches, dirt, or dust. After removing any dirt or dust that may exist, resume the erase.

After performing an erase, always remove the disc before turning off the power. If the disc is left inside when the power is turned off, there is a chance the erase may be left uncompleted.

2 Repeatedly press the EDIT/NO button until "Erase?" appears.
