When connected to a component system, the synchronous recording operations

given below are possible.

Synchronous recording from the CD player to the CDR-205X.

Synchronous recording from the MD recorder or tape deck to the CDR-205X.

Synchronous recording from the CDR-205X to a MD recorder or tape deck.

3 Press the oREC button (or the remote controller REC obutton).

“Rec Setup” appears in the display followed by the time display (the recording standby state).

Synchronous recording from a CD player to the CDR-205X

Preparation

Turn on the CDR-205X (see page 15).

Place the music CD in the CD player. (Refer to the instruction manual for the C-707CHX.)

Place a recordable CD-R or CD-RW in the CDR- 205X (see page 16).

4 After the CDR-205X enters the recording standby state, press the s button at the CD player.

The CD player starts playing and recording starts at the CDR-205X.

1 Repeatedly press the INPUT button until "Digital In1" appears.

For analog recording, select "Analog In."

Note:

Synchronous recording cannot be performed when "Digital In2" is selected.

2 Adjust the recording level (see page 29)

When the CD finishes

The CDR-205X automatically returns to the recording standby state.

To stop the CD synchronous recording

Stop play at the CD player. The CDR-205X enters the recording standby state.

Note:

During analog recording, set the input dial on the amplifier to the CD position and be sure not to change this setting during recording. If this setting is changed, the CDR-205X will automatically enter the recording standby state.
