For Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus sources, the options are:

Low:
Small reduction in dynamic range.
High:
Large reduction in dynamic range.
For Dolby TrueHD sources, the options are: Auto:
The Late Night function is set to "On" or "OFF' automatically.

Turn this setting on to reduce the dynamic range of Dolby Digital material so that you can still hear quiet parts even when listening at low volume
•The effect of the Late Night function depends on the material
that you are playing and the intention of the original sound
designer, and with some material there will be little or no effect
when you select the different options.
• The Late Night function call be used only when the input source is Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, or Dolby TrueHD.
• The Late Night function is set to "OFF' when the AV receiver is
set to Standby. For Dolby TrueHD sources, it will be set to "Auto".
Music Optimizer

Turn this setting on to enhance the sound quality of compressed music files. Use it with music files that use "lossy" compression, such as MP3.
•Alternatively, you can use the AV receiver's MUSIC
OPTIMIZER.
•The Music Optimizer function only works with PCM digital
audio input signals with a sampling rate below' 48 kHz and
analog audio input signals. The Music Optimizer is disabled
when the Direct listening mode is selected.
•The setting is stored individually for each input selector.
•The M.Opt indicator will light (_ page 8).
CinemaFILTER

Turn this setting on to soften overly [)right movie soundtracks, which are typically mixed for reproduction in a movie theater.
CinemaFILTER can be used with the following listening modes: Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital EX, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Pro Logic IIx Movie, Dolby Pro Logic II Movie, Dolby Pro Logic IIz Height, Multichannel, DTS,
•The CinemaFILTER may not work when used with certain input sources.
