	Disc Menu DVD
	Playback of the disc can be temporarily stopped and the
	on-disc menu screen can be called up.
Operation	1 Press [MENU] on the remote control
	during playback.
	2 Press [}]/[{]/[]]/[[] to select an
Menu	item.
	3 Press [ENTER] to determine the selec-
	tion.

Stop DVD VCD

Press [3] (STOP).

Press [5y] (PLAY) to resume playback from the point where [3] (STOP) is pressed. (Continued playback function)

To cancel continued playback, press [3] (STOP) again in the stop mode.

Title Menu DVD

Playback of the disc can be temporarily stopped and the on-disc title menu screen can be called up.

1 Hold down [MENU] (TITLE) on the remote control for more than 2 sec. or more.

2 Press [}]/[{]/[]]/[[] to select an item.

3 Press [ENTER] to determine the selec- tion.

Note: You can also select an item by pressing [0] to [9] on the remote control. (Press [RETURN] to cancel the operation.)

Direct Selection (during playback)

Direct Chapter Selection DVD

Example: Chapter number 10

1	Press [GRP].
2	Press [1] and [0]. (Press [RETURN] to cancel.)
3	Press [ENTER].

Direct Title Selection DVD

Example: Title number 10

1	Press [GRP] twice.
2	Press [1] and [0]. (Press [RETURN] to cancel.)
3	Press [ENTER].

List Selection DVD VCD

Only for PBC-applicable (Playback control a Page 61) VCDs or some DVDs

Example: List number 10

1	Press [1] and [0]. (Press [RETURN] to cancel.)
2	Press [ENTER].

Notes:

¡If a non-existent title/chapter/track number is entered, the command is invalid and the display returns to the regular mode.

¡Direct title selections can be made by pressing [GRP] once in the stop mode. DVD
