Prepare the following items.

•Camera

•AC adaptor

•AC cable

•Check that the power switch is set to [OFF] and the lens is retracted.

•Close the flash. (P37)

1Charge the battery. (1 # 2) (P11)

•Charging is finished in about 90 minutes.

2Slide the lever in the direction of the arrow to open the Memory Card/ battery door.

3Insert the battery into the camera. (P12)

4Insert the Card into the camera. (P15)

5Close the Memory Card/battery door.

6Remove the lens cap.

7Set the power switch to [ON]. (P17)

8Set date/time. (P28)

9Set the mode dial to [P/A/S]. (P25)
