When using this function, you can minimize jitter.

[Preparation]

•Set the mode dial except for [ ]/[ ]. (P25)

1	Press the [MENU] button.
2	Press 3/4 to select [STABILIZER].
3	Press 2/1 to select [ON]/[OFF].
4	Press the [MENU] button.
	• The menu will disappear.

•When too much jitter happens or when taking a picture chasing a moving subject, it may not be stabilized.

•The stabilizer function may be less effective in the digital zoom zone.

•When taking pictures with slow shutter speed such as night portrait, the stabilizer function may be less effective.

•When the zoom lever is close to T and the shutter speed is slower than 1/125th, the jitter alert 2 appears.

•We recommend using a tripod when the jitter alert appears.

•In simple mode [ ], the stabilizer function is fixed to [ON].

•Usually, set the stabilizer function to [ON]. Set it to [OFF] in the following cases:

–When you want designedly blurred pictures.

–When you use a tripod.
