∫Control the zoom with the side lever

Using the side lever to control the zoom when taking pictures

with the Viewfinder is useful for reducing shaking as the camera

can be kept stable.

Using the side lever can also increase techniques used for

taking pictures.

•When controlling the zoom with the side lever, set [Side Lever] in

the [Setup] menu to [ZOOM]. (P57)

•You can operate the zoom at 2speeds. The zoom speed becomes

slower when the sliding distance is small and the zoom speed

becomes faster when the sliding distance is large.

•You cannot use the zoom lever and the side lever simultaneously.

To make subjects appear closer use (Tele)

Slide the side lever towards Tele.

To make subjects appear further aw ay use (Wide)

Slide the side lever towards Wide.
