Taking Pictures with the Self-Timer

Applicable modes:

1Press 4 [ë].

2Press 3/4 to select the item and then press [MENU/SET].

Item Description of settings

[10sec.] Picture is taken 10sec onds after shutter is pressed.

[10s / 3pictures] After 10 seconds the camera takes 3 pictures at about

2 seconds intervals after shutter is pressed.

[2sec.] Picture is taken 2 seconds after shutter is pressed.

•When using a tripod etc., this setting is a convenient way to avoid

the jitter caused by pressing the shutter button.

[Off] —

3Press the shutter button halfway to focus and

then press it fully to take the pi cture.

•The Self-timer indicator A blinks and the shutter is

activated after 10seconds (or 2 seconds).

•When [10s / 3pictures] is selected , the Self-timer indicator

blinks again after the first and the second pictures are

taken and the shutter is activated 2seconds after it blinks.
