•The flash setting is fixed to Forced OFF [ ].

•ISO sensitivity is fixed to [ISO80].

•You cannot set the slow shutter.

Food mode

Press [ MENUSET ] to display the [SCENE MODE] menu and select a scene mode. (P48) This mode allows you to take pictures of food with a natural hue without being affected by the ambient light in restaurants etc.

•The focus range becomes the same as macro mode. [5 cm (0.16 feet) (Wide)/ 30 cm (0.98 feet) (Tele) to ¶]

Party mode

Press [ MENUSET ] to display the [SCENE MODE] menu and select a scene mode. (P48) Select this mode when you want to take pictures at a wedding reception, indoor party etc. By using the flash and slowing down the shutter speed, both people and the background can be recorded with a brightness close to real life.

∫Technique for Party mode

•Since the shutter speed becomes slower, we recommend using a tripod and the self-timer (P41) for taking pictures.

•We recommend rotating the zoom lever to Wide (1k) and being about 1.5 m

(4.92 feet) from the subject when taking pictures.

•The flash setting can be set to Slow sync./

Candle light mode

Press [ MENUSET ] to display the [SCENE MODE] menu and select a scene mode. (P48) This mode allows you to take pictures with a candle-lit atmosphere.

•If you make the most of the candle light, you can take successful pictures without using the flash.

•We recommend using a tripod and the self-timer (P41) for taking pictures.
