Basic settings (Setup menu)

Setting up the preference of battery type, clock, economy mode, etc.

4￿ Press q and select settings using e/r.

Make sure to set [BATTERY TYPE].

•If the type of battery being used and the type of battery selected are not the same, the battery indication will not be displayed correctly. The battery life may also become shorter.

•We recommend confirming the settings for [CLOCK SET], [AUTO REVIEW] and [ECONOMY].

1￿ Press [MENU/SET].

•The displayed menu depends on the recording mode. (Example: When program AE mode [ ] is selected.)

2￿ Press w and select an icon using r.

• SETUP menu screen appears.

•The further items will be displayed depending on items. Press q again, and select the settings using e/r.

5￿ Press [MENU/SET] to confirm the setting, and press it again (several times) to close the menu.

•Items set are limited for intelligent auto mode [ ].

3￿ Press q and select the item using e/r.

•You can turn to the next page by pressing r on the item at the bottom. You can turn the pages by rotating the zoom lever.
