Set whether the mode dial position is displayed on screen when turning the mode dial.

Initializing the built-in memory or a card.

FORMAT

Usually, it is not necessary to format the built-in memory and the card. Format them when the message [BUILT-IN MEMORY ERROR] or [MEMORY CARD ERROR] appears. Use batteries with sufficient power when formatting.

Once formatting has been completed, all data including protected pictures will be deleted. Make sure not to delete them before formatting

When the card is not inserted, built-in memory can be formatted. When the card is inserted, the card can be formatted.

Do not turn the camera off during formatting.
