Update the GPS information

When the displayed location name information is different from the current location or when the positioning is not successful, move to a location where the radio waves from GPS satellites can be received better and perform the positioning update.

Select [Repositioning] from the [GPS/Sensor] menu, and then press [MENU/SET]. (P44)

•Positioning is started and the current location information is updated once the positioning is

successful.

• Positioning can be updated skipping the information confirmation screen by selecting [ ] or [ ] from the Quick Menu (P45), and then pressing [MENU/SET].

∫Checking GPS reception

1Select [INFO] from the [GPS Setting] menu, and then press [MEUNU/SET].

• Last updated positioning result is displayed.

•Positioning is started and the current location information is updated once the positioning is successful.

∫About the time interval of the positioning

•Even if you do not perform [Repositioning], it will perform the positioning automatically right after the power is turned on, and in constant time intervals. (When [GPS Setting] is not set to [OFF])

•It will perform the positioning in constant time intervals even when the power is turned off with [GPS Setting] set to [ON].

•Positioning with the power turned off is canceled in the following cases:

–When the remaining battery power becomes []

–When the power is not turned on for a specific period of time
