A Depth meter A

•Depth meter will display the depth up to 12 m (40 feet) in 3 levels.

When the third level is flashing	You are approaching a depth of 12 m (40 feet), which is
	the diving limit of this unit. Please be aware.
Entire depth meter is flashing	You have exceeded a depth of 12 m (40 feet).

•Camera will automatically set to the optimal picture quality for underwater from the depth information. Icons showing the picture quality will switch in such a case.

[		]	It is adjusted to optimal picture quality for underwater up to a depth of 3 m
			(10 feet) when [	] is displayed.
[	]		It is adjusted to optimal picture quality for underwater for a depth of 3 m (10 feet)
			to 12 m (40 feet) when [		] is displayed.

About the fine adjustment of the white balance

Color can be adjusted in accordance with the depth or weather. For details, refer to “Finely adjusting the White Balance” on P102.

Note

•Measured depth may not be accurate when pressure is applied to front or rear of this unit by pressing with your hands, etc. In such a case, it is recommended to perform [Depth indicator] again when you get back to the surface.

•To prevent water leakage, make sure that there are no foreign objects, such as sand, hair, dust, etc., clamped and close the side door all the way until it clicks. Also, read “(Important) About the Waterproof/Dustproof and Anti-shock Performance of the Camera” (P8) before using the camera.

•Dip the camera in fresh water in a shallow container for 10 minutes or less after using it, then wipe the water off with dry soft cloth. (P11)
