∫Detaching the battery pack
When not using for long periods of time
≥Detach the battery pack (>above).
(Even when the unit is turned off, there is a small amount of
voltage running through the unit, and this ma y result in a
malfunction.)
≥Recharge the battery for re-use.
∫Recharging the battery pack
Attach the battery pack and connect the AC
adaptor (>10).
≥The [CHARGE] indicato r lights while charging the battery,
and the [CHARGE] indi cator turns off when batt ery charging
is finished.
∫Approximate recharging and play time s

≥Play time indicated ab ove may differ dependin g on the use.
≥To change the LCD bright n es s (>12 ,“Adjusting the pict ures
on the LCD screen”).
∫Checking the remaining battery charge
Not displayed when the AC adapt or is in use .
Press [SUB MENU] while the power is “On”
Remaining charge is displayed for a f ew se co nds at the bo ttom
right of the screen.
Charge the battery pack when the d isplay starts to flash.
≥Appears automatically when there is only a f ew minutes of
charge remaining.
Turning on/off the unitPress [POWER Í] (approx. 0.5 sec.).
The unit is turned off wh en [POWERÍ] is pressed again.
≥When the “Auto Power Off” i s s et t o “O n ” ( ini ti al l y se t t o “O n ”),
the unit will be turned off auto matically after 15 minutes
(5 minutes when the battery pack is used) when it is in
stopped status (>40).
≥The startup will take tim e. The operation relat ed to startup of
the unit after turning o n this unit can be quick ened by setting
the initial setup “Quick Start” (>40) to “On”. (The power
consumption will increase)
≥You may hear oper ational sounds when the uni t is turned on,
but this is due to the initiali zation of the pickup unit, and i t is
not a malfunction.
After installation of the unit and pressing [POWERÍ] for the
1st time, a screen for the basic se ttings will appear.
Follow the on-screen instructions and make
the settings with [3,4] and [OK].
“On-screen Language” (>38), “Picture Quality Mode” (>12),
“DST” (>40), “Clock Adjustment” (>40) and “Quick Start”
(>40) are set.
≥After completing “Easy Setting”, you can continuously
perform “Network Easy Setting” (>32).
≥You can perform this setup a nytime by selecting “ Easy
Setting” in the Setup menu. (>40)
≥You can also change this set ting individually.
The unit is turned off automaticall y after set time has passed.
Switch by pressing the [OFF TIMER].
It will switch every tim e it is pressed.
