You can restrict Internet access when BD-Live functio ns are
used.

DivX Subtitle Text

[DivX]
Select a suitable item according to the language used for DivX
subtitles text (>25).
≥This item is displayed only when pressing [S ETUP] after
playing back a file.

Still Mode (paused video )

[BD-V] [AVCHD] [DVD-V]
Select the type of picture shown when you pause playback
(>52,“Frames and fields”).

Seamless Play

[DVD-VR]
Select the play mode be tween playlist chapter s egments and
partially deleted titles.

Dynamic Range Compression

[BD-V] [AVCHD] [DVD-V] [DivX]
You can listen at low volumes but still hear dialog clearly.
(Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby TrueHD only)
≥“Auto” is effective only when playing Dolby TrueHD.

!Allow (ALL ):
Internet access is per mitted for all BD-Live co ntents.
!Allow (Limited ):
Internet access is permitted only for BD-Live contents
which have content ow ner certificates.
Internet access is prohibite d for al l BD-Live contents
without a certificate.
!Prohibit:
Internet access is prohibite d for al l BD-Live contents.
!Latin1: English, German, Spanish, etc.
!Latin2: Polish, Czech, Hungari an, etc.
!Cyrillic: Russian, etc.
Video
!Auto:
Automatically selects the type of picture shown.
!Field:
Select if jittering occurs when “Auto” is selected. (The
picture is coarser.)
!Frame:
Select if small text or fine patterns cannot be seen clearly
when “Auto” is selected.
(The picture is clear er and finer.)
!On:
The chapters in playlists are played seamlessly. This does
not work while searching or when there are several audio
types included on the playlist. Additionally, the pos itioning
of chapter segments m ay change slightly.
!Off:
The points where chapters in playlists change are played
accurately, but the picture may freeze for a moment.

Dolby D/Dolby D +/Dolby TrueHD

DTS/DTS-HD

Select whether Dolby Digita l, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby
TrueHD, DTS Digital Surround, DTS-HD High Resolution
Audio or DTS-HD Master Audio is output in “Bitstream” or
“PCM” format.
≥Not making the prope r settings may result i n noise.
≥If the unit is connected with the HDMI AV OUT terminal,
the specifications of the connected equipment take
precedence over this un it and audio selected in these
items may not be output (e.g., when a television is
connected, the HDMI au dio output of this unit i s limited to
down-mixed 2ch.)
!Bitstream:
Select “Bitstream” when th e connected equipment can
decode the respective audio format.
jConnect equipment support ing HDMI (High Bit rate
Audio) and use a High Speed HDMI Cable in order to
output high bit rate audio such as Dolby Digital Plus,
Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD High Resolution Audio or
DTS-HD Master Audio.
!PCM:
Select “PCM” when the connecte d eq uipment cannot
decode the respective audio format.
Refer to the operating instr uctions for connected devices to
verify whether or not they can decode each of the audio
formats.

BD-Video Secondary Audio

[BD-V]
Turn on/off the button click sound on the menu and audio
with secondary video in picture-in-picture mode. (>18)
!On:
The primary audio and s econdary audio are mi xed and
output. The sampling f requency is converted to 48k Hz.
!Off:
The button click soun d on the menu and secon dary
audio are not output.
