Setup menu
Change the unit’s settings if necess ary. The settings remain
intact even if you switch the unit to standby.
1Press [HOME].
2Press [OK] to select “Setup”.
3Press [4] to select “Player Settings”.
4Press [3,4] to select the menu and
press [OK].
5Press [3,4] to select the item and press
[OK].
If there are any other items, repeat these s teps.
6Press [3,4,2,1] to select the option
and press [OK].
≥There may be differences in operation methods. If this happens, follow
the on-screen instructions for the operation.
DVD-Video Ratings
Set a ratings level to limit DVD-Vid eo play.
≥Follow the on-screen instructions. Enter a 4-digit
password with the number buttons when the password
screen is shown.
BD-Video Ratings
Set an age limit of BD-Vid eo play.
≥Follow the on-screen instructions. Enter a 4-digit
password with the number buttons when the password
screen is shown.
3D BD-Video Playback
Select the playback method of 3D compatible video
software.
Audio Language
Choose the language fo r audio.
≥If “Original” is selected , the original language of each disc
will be selected.
≥Enter a code (38) with the number buttons when you
select “Other ¢¢¢¢”.
Subtitle Language
Choose the language fo r the subtitle.
≥If “Automatic” is selecte d and the language sel ected for
“Audio Language” is not a vailable, subtitles of that
language will automatically appear if available on that
disc.
≥Enter a code (38) with the number buttons when you
select “Other ¢¢¢¢”.
Menu Language
Choose the language fo r the disc menus.
≥Enter a code (38) with the number buttons when you
select “Other ¢¢¢¢”.
BD-Live Internet Access (19)
You can restrict Internet access when BD-Liv e functions are
used.
≥If “Allow (Limited)” is selected, Internet access is permitted
only for BD-Live cont ents which have content owner
certificates.
Subtitle Text
Select a suitable item a ccording to the langua ge used for
DivX [BDT310/210_for_Canada] or MKV subt itles text (18).
≥This item is displayed only after playing back a file.
