Does the exposure indicator say “lighter”?

Does the add toner indicator and message appear on the display? (?)

Marked Copies

Troubleshooting

Action

Press the Scroll key until the indicator LED is set to Darker. (See P.12)

Replace the Toner Cartridge. (See P.46)

Is the copier platen glass or platen cover dirty?

Is the original an OHP film or a dark original?

Clean the glass or platen cover. (See below)

Cover the original with a sheet of white paper before copying or lighten the exposure setting.

■If the measures outlined above do not solve the problem, call your Service provider.
