Using a smartphone, you can perform record/playback operations from a remote location or upload motion pictures and still pictures recorded in this unit on SNS (Social Networking Service).

AWhen connecting to a smartphone

Before using, perform the preparations for using the Wi-Fi function. (l 123)

You need to turn on the Wi-Fi function of your smartphone and install “Image App”. (l 126)

Do not remove the SD card during remote operations.

Refer to [Help] in the “Image App” menu for further details on how to operate.

Using with a direct connection

If the device is Android (NFC-compatible)

Turn on the NFC function of your smartphone.

Using the NFC (Near Field Communication) function, you can easily transfer data necessary for a Wi-Fi connection between this unit and the smartphone.

This function can be used with the NFC compatible device with Android (OS version 2.3.3 or later). (Except for some models)

Start up the smartphone application “Image App”.

Touch the smartphone on of this unit.

If this is the first time the smartphone is connecting to this unit, touch

[YES] on the screen of this unit, and then touch the smartphone on

of this unit again.

If the unit is not recognized even when touching the smartphone, change positions and try again.

When the connection is complete, images of this unit is displayed on the smartphone screen.
