Wi-Fi [HC-V720]/[HC-V720M]

Home Cam (Home Monitor)

You can confirm the recording screen of this unit from outside using a smartphone.

Before using, perform the preparations for using the Wi-Fi function. (l 125)

Switch the Wi-Fi setting to off on your smartphone and use with mobile network such as 3G.

Check your contract details carefully, as smartphone and internet contract details may result in high communication charges being incurred, or a limit placed on communication traffic.

Perform the monitoring operation on the smartphone. (l 149)

If this is the first time you are configuring the home monitor settings, please read page 148.

Connecting with Android (NFC-compatible) device

Turn on the NFC function.

Using the NFC (Near Field Communication) function, you can easily transfer data necessary for a Wi-Fi connection between this unit and the smartphone.

This function can be used with the NFC compatible device with Android (OS version 2.3.3 or later). (Except for some models)

1 Start up the smartphone application “Image App”.

When a Wi-Fi connection guidance screen is displayed, select [NO].

2 Display the screen of a connection setup to home monitor from the menu of a smartphone.

3 Touch the smartphone on of this unit.

If the unit is not recognized even when touching the smartphone,

change positions and try again.

≥ A confirmation screen is displayed on the screen of a smartphone. Touch [YES] to start home monitor.

This unit will be turned on if it is touched on the by a smartphone

even when this unit was turned off using the LCD screen.
