[Device Name]

You can view and change this unit’s device name (SSID), which is used for operating this unit as a wireless access point.

1Touch [INPUT], and enter the desired device name (SSID).

Input up to [20] characters are recommended. All the characters cannot be confirmed when displaying the Device names on this unit if a long Device name is used. (l 133)

For details on how to enter characters, refer to page 65.

2Touch [EXIT].

If you are going to connect directly to a smartphone after changing the device name (SSID), set the connection again with the changed device name (SSID) (l 133).

The Password entered during the setting of direct connection cannot be changed. (l 133)

[IP Address/DNS

Settings]

You can change or check your wireless LAN’s network settings, such as the [IP Address], [Subnet Mask] and [MAC Address].

[IP Address]/[Subnet Mask]/[Gateway]/[Primary DNS]/[Secondary DNS]/[MAC Address]

If you touch [AUTO], the network settings are configured automatically. If you touch [MANUAL], you can set each item. Select the item you want to set, and set it.

[MAC Address] cannot be changed.
