Before recording

 

 

Basic camera positioning

When you are outdoors, record pictures with the sunlight behind you. If the subject is backlit, it will become dark in the recording.

When recording, make sure your footing is stable and there is no danger of colliding with another person or object.

Hold the unit with both hands.

Put your hand through the grip belt. Do not cover the microphones .

Turn the multi manual ring as shown above.

Do not cover inlet of the cooling fan with your hand as it will prevent heat release.

It is convenient to use the Sub-recording Start/Stop button when holding the unit around your waist.

Keep your arms near your body. Separate your legs for better balance.
