•If the speaker cords have vinyl tips, twist the vinyl tip and pull off.

•Confirm the colors of the tags on the ends of the cords.

•For White tags, connect to grey terminals.

For Blue, Black and Red tags, connect so tag colors match the terminal colors.

Note

•Never short-circuit positive (+) and negative (–) speaker wires.

Incorrect connection can damage the speakers.

Note

• You can reduce the power consumed in standby mode by turning the demo function off.

•If you set the clock (⇒ page 32), the demo function will turn off automatically.

AC power supply cord

Connect the AC power supply cord after all other connections are complete.

When disconnecting the AC power supply cord

1Press [POWER 8].

2Disconnect after “GOODBYE” disappears from the display.
