Recording from SD/the radio to cassette tape
Preparation
Insert the SD card (⇒ page 8) or the cassette tape. (⇒ page 19)
Note
You can use SD cards with capacities between 8MB and 1GB on this unit. (⇒ page 6)
Recording from SD
(Normal recording only)

Program recording

Program record allows you to specify the tracks to be recorded to tape.
1Select “SD” as the source.

To stop
Press [g STOP].
To pause (recording from the radio) While pressing [*/h REC], press [TAPE].
The cassette tape pauses and the radio continues playing. (“REC” flashes on the display.)
Press again to restart recording.
Note
•Recording automatically stops when the end of the side of the tape being recorded to is reached. To record the other side, turn the tape over.
•When recording an AM broadcast, sound is momentarily interrupted when you start and stop the recording.
•You cannot select RANDOM mode when recording.
