OFF A Loss of Signal (LOS) condition has
been detected on the leased line
network interface when it is not

Status Green ON The interchange circuits for the port
are in the correct state to transmit and

OFF The port is idle. Occurs if the port is
configured to monitor DTR and/or RTS
and the lead(s) is not asserted.
Control Lead Descriptions
See Table 5-2, Network Interface LED, for a description of this lead. See
Table 5-3, User Data Port LED, to interpret the user data port OK control lead.
The LED descriptions and control lead descriptions are the same.
In addition to the OK LED for the user data port, additional control leads can be
monitored through the Display LEDs and Control Leads screen. These indicators
show the current state of each control lead and what they indicate when they are
highlighted; that is, in the On state. These are described in Table 5-4.

TXD Transmit Data Data is being sent to the far-end device.
RXD Receive Data Data is being received from the far-end device.
DTR Data Terminal Ready The Data Terminal Equipment (DTE) is not
ready to operate.
RTS Request to Send The DTE has indicated that it is ready to
transmit data.
