Manual Focusing
When you focus manually, you can either check with the focus
indicator 
or the viewfinder’s matte field to adjust focus.
Using the focus indicator

Set the focus mode switch

Frame the subject, then turn the focusing ring to the right or the left until the subject is in focus.
When the subject comes into focus, the focus
indicator 
lights up and the audible PCV signal beeps.
