Setting the =/LButton Operation

You can assign one of the following functions to the =/Lbutton. Separate settings can be made for still picture shooting and movie recording.

Enable AF1

Both the =/Lbutton and shutter release button are

available to perform autofocus. (p.101) (default setting)

 

 

 

Enable AF2

Autofocus is performed only when the =/Lbutton is pressed

and not when the shutter release button is pressed halfway.

 

 

 

 

While the =/Lbutton is pressed, autofocus is not performed

Cancel AF

even when the shutter release button is pressed. Take your finger

 

off the =/Lbutton to return to normal autofocus operation.

 

 

AE Lock

The exposure setting is locked when the =/Lbutton is

pressed. (p.96)

 

 

 

1Select [Button Customization] in the [A Rec. Mode 4] menu, and press the four-way controller (5).

The [Button Customization] screen appears.

2Use the four-way controller (23) to select , and press the four-way controller (5).

The =/Lbutton icon with C is the setting for movie recording. The screen to select a function of the =/Lbutton appears.
