236 Connecting the Camera and a Computer

Connect the camera to a computer using the provided USB cable I-USB7.

1Turn the computer on.

2Turn the camera off, and use the USB cable to connect the VIDEO/PC terminal of the camera and the computer.

a Computer

3Turn the camera on.

The camera is recognized as a removable disk or an SD Memory Card with a volume label “K-50”.

If the “K-50” dialog appears when the camera is turned on, select [Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer] and click the OK button.

4Save the captured images to the computer.

Copy the image file(s) or folder(s) to the hard disk of the computer.

5Disconnect the camera from the computer.

The camera cannot be operated while it is connected to the computer. Turn off the camera and remove the USB cable to enable operating the camera.
