Troubleshooting

No picture

The
signal
cable should be complet ely connected to the display card/computer.
The
display card should be c ompletely seated in its slot.
Fr
ont Power Switch an d computer power switch should be in the
ON
position.
Check to make sur
e
that
a
supported m ode
has
been
selected on the displ ay card or system being used.
(Please
consult display ca rd or system
manual
to change graphics
mode.)
Check the monitor and your display card with respect to compatibility and recomm ended settings.
Check the
signal
cable connector f or bent or pushed-in pins.
If nothing is displayed on the scr
een
when
HDCP
device is connect ed, r

the power of t he device.

Image persistence

Please
be
aware
that
LCD
T
echnology may experience
a
phenomenon known
as
Image
Persistence.
Image
Persist ence
occurs when
a
r
esidual
or
“ghost”
image of
a
pr
evious
image r
emains
visible on the scr
een.
Unlike
CRT
monitors,
LCD
monitors’ image p ersistence is not permanent, b ut
constant images being displa yed for
a
long period of time should be avoided.
T
o
alleviate
image persistence, turn off th e monitor for
as
long
as
the pr
evious
image was displayed.
For
example,
if
an
image was on the monit or for
one
hour and
a
r
esidual
image r
emains,
the monitor should be turned off for
one
hour to
erase
the image.
NOTE:
As
with
all
personal display devices,
PHILIPS
recommends displaying m oving images and using
a
moving panel savin g at r
egular
intervals
wheneve r
the
scr
een
is idle or turning off the monitor when not in
use.
