Pressing the PLAY key, before pressing a key on the remote control, gives an error in the remote control test (note that the remote control test will also fail if a key on the remote control was pressed but no code was received). The remote control test does not check upon the contents of the received code, that is it will not be checked if the received code matches the key pressed. If desired, the user can manually check this code by using a code-table for the remote control key-codes.

5.3.5P50 Loop-Back Test

For the P50 loop-back test, the user must first press a key to decide if the test is to be performed.

The display will show the following message:

If the user presses STOP, the P50 test will be skipped.

If the user presses OPEN/CLOSE, the P50 test is performed and the result is displayed as follows:
