Changing the TV system

Ifyou play recordings made on another video recorder, it may
leadto problems with the colour of your picture.
aSwitchon the TV set and select the programme number
forthe video recorder.
bPressthe MENU button.The main menu will appear.
cSelectthe line ’SPECIAL SETTINGS’ with the menu
buttons P=or P;andconfirm with the Pbutton.
dInthe line ’TV SYSTEM’, select the TV system you want
withthe menu buttons Qor P.
eConfirmwith the OK button.
fToend, press the MENU button.
DIfyou still have problems with the colour of the picture,
youcan switch to B/W (black and white) on the ’TV
SYSTEM’line.

Child lock

aSwitchon the TV set and select the programme number
forthe video recorder.
bPressthe MENU button.The main menu will appear.
cSelectthe line ’SPECIAL SETTINGS’ with the menu
buttons P=or P;andconfirm with the Pbutton.
dInthe line ’CHILD LOCK’, select ’ON’ with the menu
buttons Qor P.
eConfirmwith the OK button.
fToend, press the MENU button.
{’will appear in the video recorder display.
Keepthe remote control in a safe place.
gIfyou want to switch off the child lock, select ’OFF’ in the
line’CHILD LOCK’. ’{’ will disappear from the video
recorderdisplay.
DIfyou press a button when the child lock is on, ’{’ will
flashon the video recorder display for a few seconds.
DYoucan make programmed recordings while the child
lockis on.
Youcan also switch on the child lock with the remote control.
Pressthe mSTANDBY button on the remote control for a few
secondsuntil ’{’ appears on the video recorder display.
Switchthe child lock off in the same way.
