12 Connect to your PC

Minimum PC requirements:

•Windows 2000 SP4 (or above) / XP SP2 / Vista

•Pentium III 500MHz processor or higher

•256MB RAM

•CD-ROM drive

•Ethernet adapter, enabled (for wired connection) - or

•Wireless network adapter 802.11 b/g (for wireless connection)

•500MB free hard disk space

Install WADM (Philips Wireless Audio Device Manager, see 17 FAQ)

1Insert the PC Suite CD into the PC.

2Follow the instructions on the PC to install WADM.

3When the security alert message (Microsoft Windows Firewall) pops up, press Unblock to allow the WADM application to run on the PC.

> The Microsoft Windows Firewall is still effective and only allows the WADM to run.

Tip

You can also consult the user manual of the Microsoft Windows Firewall and manually add the WADM application to your list of programs that are safe to run.

4Select language and accept license terms.

5On the Welcome screen, click Next.

> The installation process starts automatically.

6When installation is completed, click Quit.

Connect Center to PC (Wired connection)

Use the supplied orange Ethernet cable to connect the WAC7500 to your PC. (Make sure that the Ethernet port on your PC is enabled to establish WADM connection).
