Scrollbar operation

ofthe screen, drag upward or downward

toview the hidden object.

Adjusting the LCD panel angle

CAUTION

Keephands and fingers clear of the unit when

opening,closing, or adjusting the LCD panel. Be

especiallycautious of children’s hands and fin-

gers.

1 Press hto display the ejecting menu.

2 Touch or to adjust the LCD

panelto an easily viewable angle.

#LCDdisplay angle can be adjusted to 5 differ-

entpositions.

#Theadjusted LCD panel angle will be memor-

izedand automatically returned to the next time

theLCD panel is opened.

Built-in DVD player basicoperations

Playing a disc

1 Press hto display the ejecting menu.

2 Touch toopen the LCD panel.

Discloading slot appears.

#Whena DVD (-R/-RW), CD (-R/-RW) is loaded

inthis unit, touch the source icon and then touch

Discto select Disc.

3 Insert a DVD (-R/-RW), CD (-R/-RW) into

thedisc loading slot.

LCDpanel is closed automatically, and play-

backwill start.

#Besure to turn up the label side of a DVD

(-R/-RW),CD (-R/-RW).

#Aftera DVD (-R/-RW), CD (-R/-RW) has been

inserted,use touch panel keys to select the DVD

player.

#Whena DVD (-R/-RW), CD (-R/-RW) is loaded

inthis unit, touch the source icon and then touch

Discto select Disc.

#Ifyou are playing a DVD or Video CD, a menu

mayappear. Refer to Operating the DVD menu on

page20 and PBC playback on page 24.

#Whenthe automatic playback function is on,

thisunit will cancel the DVD menu and automati-

callystart playback from the first chapter of the

firsttitle. Refer to Automatic playback of DVDs on

page22.

#Youcan eject a DVD (-R/-RW), CD (-R/-RW) by

pressingh, and then touching .

Notes

!TheDVD player plays one, standard, 12-cm

DVD(-R/-RW), CD (-R/-RW) at a time. Playing

backan 8-cm disc is not possible with this

unit.

!Donot insert anything other than a DVD (-R/-

RW),CD (-R/-RW) into the disc loading slot.
