Setting the automatic openfunction
Toprevent the display from hitting the shift
leverof an automatic vehicle when it is in P
(park)position, or when you do not wish the
displayto open/close automatically, you can
setthe automatic open function in the manual
mode.
1 TouchNEXT on the system menu.
2 TouchAUTO FLAP to select the display
toopen/close automatically or manually.
Eachtime you touch AUTO FLAP it switches
betweenthe following settings:
!ONThe LCD panel will be opened or
closedautomatically with the turning of the
ignitionswitch on or off
!OFFYou have to press OPEN/CLOSE to
open/closethe LCD panel
Switching the iPod charge setting
Youcan turn the iPod charge setting on or off
whilelistening to an iPod.
!ListeningAM radio while an iPod is
chargedfrom this unit may generate noise.
Inthis case, turn the iPod charge setting
offand noise is disappeared.
!Initially,this function is set to on.
1 TouchNEXT on the system menu.
2 TouchiPod CHARGE to turn the iPod
chargesetting on.
#Toturn the iPod charge setting off,touch
iPodCHARGE again.
Note
Formaximum performance, we recommend that
youuse the latest version of the iPod software.
Selecting the OSD color
Youcan change the OSD color.
1 TouchNEXT on the system menu.
2 TouchOSD COLOR to select the desired
color.

Selecting the illumination color
Thisunit is equipped with multiple-color illu-
mination.You can select a desired color from
112different types of color.

Youcan select an illumination color from the
colorlist.
1 TouchILLUMI COLOR to display the set-
tingmenu.
2 Touchone of the color list.
Youcan select one from the following list.
!BLUE(blue)
!RED(red)
!AMBER(amber)
!GREEN(green)
!VIOLET(violet)
!SCAN(scanning all colors)
Note
SCANsetting cycles continuously through all the
colors.
