AUTOCONNECT in the function menu.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to turn auto-
maticconnection on.
Ifyour cellular phone is ready for Bluetooth
wirelessconnection, connection to this unit is
automaticallyestablished.
#Toturn automatic connection off, press
MULTI-CONTROLagain.
Using the phone book

Transferringentries to the phone book

ThePhone Book can hold a total of 500 en-
tries.300 from User 1, 150 from User 2, and 50
fromUser 3.
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
PHBOOK TRANSFER in the function menu.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to show the con-
firmationdisplay.
TRANSFER:YES appears in the display.
3 PressMULTI-CONTROL to enter the
phonebook transfer standby mode.
4 Usethe cellular phone to perform
phonebook transfer.
Performphone book transfer using the cellu-
larphone. For detailed instructions, refer to
theinstruction manual that came with your
cellularphone.
#Thedisplay indicates how many entries have
beentransferred and the total number to be
transferred.
5 DATATRANSFERREDis displayed and
phonebook transfer is completed.

Callinga number in the phone book

Important
Besure to park your vehicle and apply the park-
ingbrake when performing this operation.
Afterfinding the number youwant to call in
thephone book, you can select the entry and
makethe call.
1 Press /LIST to display the phone
book.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to display
ABCSEARCH.
3 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to select the first
letterof the name you are looking for.
4 PressMULTI-CONTROL to display an
entry.
Thedisplay shows the first Phone Book entry
startingwith that letter (e.g. Ben,Brian
andBurtwhen Bis selected).
5 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to select an entry
youwant to call.
6 PressMULTI-CONTROL to display a
phonenumber.
7 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to select a phone
numberyou want to call.
#Ifone phone number is entered in an entry,
thisoperation is not available.
#Ifyou want to go back and select another
entry,press DISP/BACK/SCRL.
8 PressMULTI-CONTROL to make a call.
#Pressand hold MULTI-CONTROL to switch to
phonebook delete display. For details, refer to
Clearingmemory on the next page.
Using the call history
Important
Besure to park your vehicle and apply the park-
ingbrake when performing this operation.
The12 most recent calls made (dialled), re-
ceivedand missed, are stored in the call his-
tory.You can browse the call history and call
numbersfrom it.
