SET UP menu
To change the password:
1Select Password on the Lock menu and then press d.
2Press ENT when the Change option is high- lighted.
3Enter a current password using the numbered buttons then press ENT.
4Enter a new password using the numbered buttons then press ENT.
5Enter the password again to verify.
If you forget your password
If you forget your password you can clear it using the following steps.
1 Press D.SETUP.
The Setup menu appears.
#You can perform the same operation by press- ing and holding DISC MENU/SET UP on the re- mote control.
2Input the

Area Code
Enter the code of the area whose standards were used to rate the DVD video disc, accord- ing to the area code. Refer to Area code list on page 53.
1Select Area Code on the Lock menu then press d.
2Follow the step 2 as shown on Rating on the previous page.
3Select the first character using a/b.
4Press ENT and select the second charac- ter using a/b.
5Press ENT to confirm your country code selection. 
Others
PBC
Set Playback Control (PBC) to On or Off.
!On: Video CDs with PBC are played accord- ing to the PBC.
!Off: Video CDs with PBC are played in the same way as Audio CDs.
Note
The PBC function is only available for playing the Video CD 2.0.
