Using the graphic equalizer
Thegraphic equalizer lets you adjust the
equalizationto match car interior acoustic
characteristicsas desired.

Recalling equalizer curves

Thereare six stored equalizer cur ves which
youcan easily recall at any time. Here is a list
ofthe equalizer curves:

!CUSTOMis an adjusted equalizer curve that
youcreate. Adjustments can be made with a
9-bandgraphic equalizer.
!WhenFLAT is selected no supplement or
correctionis made to the sound. This is useful
tocheck the effect of the equalizer curves by
switchingalternatively between FLAT and a
setequalizer curve.
1 PressDSP to select the graphic
equalizer.
PressDSP until PWFL appears in the display.
#Ifthe graphic equalizer has been previously
setto an equalizer curve otherthan PWFL then
thetitle of that previously selected equalizer curve
willbe displayed, such as S-BASS,NTRL,VOCAL,
CUSTOM,orFLAT.
2 Selectan equalizer curve by
pressing16.
Selectthe desired equalizer curve by pressing
oneof the numbered buttons, from 16, which
correspondto the different equalizer curves as
listedabove.
#Youcan also sequentially select an equalizer
curveby pressing cor d.

Adjusting equalizer curves

Thefactory supplied equalizer curves,with the
exceptionof FLAT, can be adjusted to a fine
degree(nuance control).

2 Pressaor bto adjust the equalizer
curve.
Eachpress of aor bincreases or decreases
theequalizer cur ve respectively.
+65(or 6) is displayed as the equalizer
curveis increased ordecreased.
#Theactual range of the adjustments are dif-
ferentdepending on which equalizer curve is se-
lected.
Note
Youcan store the adjusted equalizer curve in
CUSTOMby pressing and holding button 5until
MEMORYappears in the display.
