Adjusting initial settings
1 PressSOURCE and hold until the unit
turnsoff.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL and hold until
CLOCKSET appears in the display.
3 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to select one of
theinitial settings.

Setting the clock
Usethese instructions to set the clock.
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
CLOCKSET.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to display the
settingmode.
#PressBACK to return to the previous display.
3 PressMULTI-CONTROL to select the seg-
mentof the clock display you wish to set.
Eachtime you press MULTI-CONTROL, one
segmentof the clock display is selected.
HourMinute
Asyou select segments of the clock display,
theselected segment blinks.
4 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to put a clock
right.
#Youcan also perform the same operations by
pushingMULTI-CONTROL up or down.
Switching the warning tone
Ifthe front panel is not detached from the
headunit within four seconds of turning off
theignition, a warning tone sounds. You can
turnoff the warning tone.
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
WARNINGTONE.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to turn warning
toneon.
#Toturn warning tone off, press
MULTI-CONTROLagain.
Switching the auxiliary setting
Auxiliarydevices connected to this unit canbe
activatedindividually. Set each AUX source to
ONwhen using. For more information about
connectingor using auxiliar y devices, refer to
Usingthe AUX source on page 30.
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select AUX1/
AUX2.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to turn AUX1/
AUX2on.
#Toturn AUX off, press MULTI-CONTROL
again.
Switching the dimmer setting
Toprevent the display from being too bright at
night,the display is automatically dimmed
whenthe car s headlights are turned on. You
canturn the dimmer on or off.
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select DIMMER.
