1INPUT SELECTOR dial Use to select an input function.

2STANDBY/ON

Switches the receiver between on and standby. Power indicator lights when the receiver is on.

When the KURO LINK function is set to ON, the power indicator lights dimly when the power is in standby.

3Tuner controls

BAND – Switches between AM and FM radio bands (page 48).

TUNE +/– – Use to find radio frequencies (page 48). PRESET +/– – Use to find preset stations (page 48).

TUNER EDIT – Use with TUNE +/–,PRESET +/– and ENTER to memorize and name stations for recall (page 48).

4PHASE CONTROL indicator – Lights to indicate Phase Control is selected (page 55).

ADVANCED MCACC indicator – Lights when EQ is set to ON in the AUDIO PARAMETER menu (page 60).

PQLS indicator – Lights when the PQLS feature is active (page 59).

HDMI indicator – Blinks when connecting an HDMI- equipped component; lights when the component is connected (page 23).

AUTO SURR/ALC/STREAM DIRECT – Switches between Auto Surround (page 50), Auto level control mode and Stream Direct mode (page 53).

STEREO – Switches between stereo playback and Front Stage Surround Advance modes (page 52).

ADVANCED SURROUND – Use to switch between the various surround modes (page 51).

STANDARD SURROUND – Press for Standard decoding and to switch between the various 2 Pro Logic IIx and Neo:6 options (page 50).

HOME THX – Press to select a Home THX listening mode (page 51).

Use to change the speaker system (page 63).

12 MULTI-ZONE controls
