Wireless Screen (ADW-4300 only)

The ADW-4300's settings must match the other Wireless stations.

Note that the ADW-4300 will automatically accept both 802.11b and 802.11g connec- tions, and no configuration is required for this feature.

To change the ADW-4300's default settings for the Wireless Access Point feature, use the Wireless link on the main menu to reach the Wireless screen. An example screen is shown below.

Region

Select the correct domain for your location. It is your responsibil-

ity to ensure:

That the ADW-4300 is only used in domains for which is

licensed.

That you select the correct domain, so that only the legal

channels for that domain can be selected.

Station name

This is the same as the "Device Name" for the ADW-4300.

SSID

This is also called the "Network Name".

If using an ESS (Extended Service Set, with multiple access

points) this ID is called an ESSID (Extended Service Set

Identifier).

To communicate, all Wireless stations should use the same

SSID/ESSID.
