The PMP has a T-Bar style navigation. The main menu is considered to be the icons along the top of the player. The item that you are currently on is in the center of the row of icons, it is highlighted and its corresponding title is displayed above it. Pressing left or right on the 5-Way nav button allows you to scroll through the menu icons.
