Using WiFi

Enabling WiFi Automatically

When attempting to use any feature that requires WiFi, the user will be automatically prompted to enable WiFi.

Enabling WiFi Manually

WiFi can be enabled manually by pressing the ‘Menu’ button and selecting ‘WiFi On’. WiFi can be turned off by pressing the ‘Menu’ button and selecting ‘WiFi Off’.

AutoConnect

When in the WiFi feature’s ‘Status’ menu, the AutoConnect feature can be enabled and disabled by pressing the ‘Menu’ button and selecting ‘Enable AutoConnect’ or ‘Disable AutoConnect’. This feature, when enabled, will automatically connect to your preferred networks (previously accessed networks) when WiFi is enabled. When this feature is disabled, a WiFi connection needs to be manually selected.

Configuring Networks

The Configure Networks option in the Wireless application allows you to manually configure a network’s settings. When within this menu press the ‘Menu’ button to choose between adding, deleting and editing a network. Network features such as SSID, security information, IP address, and DNS Server can be configured in these menus.
