Ending a Workout
Some preset workouts have a five minute cool down period added to the end of the workout. .
Cooling down is an important aspect of your workout because it helps reduce muscle stiffness and soreness by transporting excess lactic acid out of the working muscles. In addition, a five minute cool down period allows your heart rate to return to its normal, resting state.
To end your workout, touch Pause, and then Finish. A summary screen for your current workout appears. The measurements include:
Distance
Calories
Duration
Average movement rate/min (or the appropriate measure based on equipment type)
Average Heart Rate
